“You’re Fired!!!”

I was washing dishes in the kitchen, priding myself on how nicely my children were playing upstairs. Suddenly, I hear a door slam and angry footsteps leaving one of the bedrooms. As my six year old daughter approached at the bottom of the stairs I turned to ask her what all the commotion. Before I could even get the question out of my mouth, my three year old son (in tears) shouted from the upstairs balcony “Jordon, you’re fired!!” Jordan, not skipping a beat, continued into the kitchen. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head calmy stated, “He can’t fire me, I don’t even have a job.”
