About Chicken Pucker
It’s so funny how things get started: One minute you’re having a conversation with your friends about your plans for the weekend, and the next you’re all laughing over a story about how you lost a shoe and didn’t know it.
That’s when it really hit us—We feel so much better after we’ve had a good laugh at ourselves. How could we share this same feeling with others? It was then when we decided to create a place where people could read and share their own funny stories.
So how could we bring this concept to life?
One day, a few of us were tossing out ideas, looking for that "big idea", while David was doodling on a very blank note pad. That’s when it happened; I sat there staring at a funny little chicken doodle, when I said "Chicken Pucker!" We all cracked up laughing, and "What makes your Chicken Pucker?" was born.
The chicken was contagious, simple, and expressed everything we were about. We now had the symbol for our grassroots effort to make the world a better place, one smile at a time.
I don’t think our friends really thought that we were serious, but to David and I, the lights suddenly came on. We setup a simple website and blog, eager to start getting our message out, and CP Generation was on its way.
Things started slowly at first, with family and friends sending in their funny stories to keep us going. We lived on cereal and Ramen noodles, used ours kids coloring projects for wall art, and made new friends at the second hand shop. But it didn’t take long for the word to get out. Today people are wearing their Chicken Pucker t-shirts around town, and sending them to their friends and family as gifts. Everyone deserves a good laugh, so join us today!
