I’ve been married and divorced three times. That is another long story which I won’t get into now. One day as I was leaving work I heard some guy call my name. I went over to the car where the guy was sitting and there was my first ex-husband, Jim. I was surprised and shocked to see him since I hadn’t laid eyes on him since the divorce, some eleven years earlier. In fact, I had been married and divorced a second time since then. Jim was dropping off a pal of his who also worked there on another shift. Jim and I made small talk but all I kept thinking was how weird he looked with his long hair, extremely thin body frame and general unkempt appearance. I was anxious to make an escape when he asked if he could call me sometime. ” Ah… sure, I’m in the book”, I replied, mortified at his request. But seconds later, I accidentally got out of that commitment. When I was leaving I said, “Good seeing you, Bob!” Bob was the name of my second husband! Oops.
